Live images |
| The go1984 web server has been expanded with a new interface specially designed for the iPhone and iPad. go1984 version 3.7.2.3 or later offers you the option to access go1984 via browser using the integrated, free go1984 client. You can therefore establish a connection to the go1984 server via both WLAN and GPRS/Edge/UMTS. This makes available to you the live images from all the cameras on the go1984 web server which you have relevant access rights for. To change camera, simply select one from the camera list. To make access even easier for you, find the "iGo1984 HD" application in the App Store. This program also offers you from go1984 version 3.8.1.5 onward native iPad support at full resolution, as well as simultaneous access to more than one go1984 Server. |

Recordings |
| Each camera gives you access to the entire recordings archive. You can use this simply to browse through the scenes available for a particular day or select another day. To help you find the relevant scene quickly, a preview is displayed for each recording. When you select the scene you want it starts playing. During playback there is a digital PTZ function available, as in the case of live images. Tap and slide the progress bar that is displayed below the scene to go quickly to wherever you want in a recording. |

Controlling PTZ cameras and digital PTZ function |
| You can control the movable cameras very easily using your iPhone or iPad. With suitable PTZ cameras, you can use the touch-sensitive display to pan, tilt or zoom the camera. You can also control cameras that support area zoom by opening a frame in the image using two fingers. Even preset positions can be controlled. You can use a digital PTZ function with fixed and movable cameras without any optical zoom. This can help you make important details recognizable, especially in the case of high-resolution megapixel cameras. |

Notification via iOS push service |
| In an emergency, prompt notification is essential. In interaction with go1984 (V3.8.3.0 or later) "iGo1984 HD" allows notification via push service. Upon receipt of a new push message, the application can directly be launched with the camera triggering the alarm. The push notification is adjustable for each camera and can for example be activated at specific times only via individual schedulers. |
I/O support |
| You can control via your iPhone or iPad HTTP events previously defined in go1984. The interface allows you to control remotely go1984 functions such as activating alarm functions. You can also activate outputs available in go1984 to control remotely and conveniently the lights in your house, open or close the window blinds, switch the alarm on or perform any other function you require. |
